Hey dudes and Dudettes
So this is my remix of Britney Spears' new single.
It's designed to be, basically, very similar to the original, but more dancefloor-friendly.
The idea is that anyone hearing it instantly recognises the song but can bop along to it better as it's 'dancier'.
It's for my own DJ use, but I thought I may as well bung it up here as well.
Most of the music was actually created in MIDI by me, not from the original track as it may sound!

My friend Adam (A different one to the Adam previous) has asked me to create a backing track so that he can sing a song over it. He likes electro music. Here is a short demo of the song.

Hey guys,
Feels like forever since I last updated this site (I don't think a Mutya re-edit really counts does it?) but good news - a new original production from me!
My lovely friend Adam Clarke had written a song named 'Bring on the Summer', which started life as a demo written over a backing instrumental previously released at 140bpm - so it was fairly fast. I'd probably categorise the song as 'hard trance' in it's original form. I think it can still be heard at his website.
Anyway, the song had someone else's backing.
Obviously this isn't legal if you plan on releasing your song commercially, so it then fell to me as a remixer to try and produce something good enough for the single release, whilst still retaining the character of the original - I also produced another mix which brought the song into a more relaxed, trippy light.
Adam hated the trippy mix, so I'm pretty sure he won't mind me sharing it here online with you (Leave your comments as always if you approve/disapprove etc). this version has since been tweaked and twisted into what is now known as the 'Flameboy Cool Breeze mix' which is going on the CD Single, and is also presented here, albeit in cut-down form, for your delectation!

Ok I created this myself in ACID using a few of the remixes & dubs that have been floating around because I wanted an extended version to play out in clubs.
So I've ended up with an extended version of Song 4 Mutya, where the arrangement is slightly different to the original to keep it a bit more interesting. I've slotted in a couple of short instrumental breaks from different mixes to make it, hopefully, varied but still cohesive.
If you know the Radio Edit, it's basically the same structure but extended.

Welcome! this is my cobbled-together-in-two-minutes 'blog to host my own productions, mainly because McSleazy's GYBO doesn't allow direct links anymore after being told off by the thought police or someone. It's nice to have one place to store them anyway isn't it?
